Ja’Whaun Bentley Partners with Heading Home to Support Families in Need

Heading Home partnered with New England Linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley and Northern Bank to help spread the word about the important work we are doing to end homelessness in Eastern Massachusetts.

As part of our partnership, Ja’Whaun Bentley joined Heading Home to create a magical holiday experience for families living in Heading Home shelters. In an unforgettable visit to three Roxbury family shelters, Bentley brought joy and laughter as he handed out toys, signed footballs, delivered cookies, and helped the kids put up holiday decorations.

Bentley shares a personal connection to Heading Home’s mission, having experienced homelessness during childhood. “It’s very tough to say we’re going to try to end homelessness altogether, but it’s key that we don’t zoom out but instead zoom in and focus on… saving one family at a time,” he shared in a video alongside Northern Bank CEO, James Mawn.
